So today my friend, Susan and her son Seth and daughter Isabelle came for a playdate...and I tried to practise and take a couple pics of Izzy. However, this girl is a mover! She doesn't like to sit still for nothin'! But I got a couple of cute ones, and here they are...

Creative Exposures...

Well, here are some of my first pictures/experiments that I am learning how to take in manual mode...portraits?!...
Riley was upset about something here, so he sat down to pout and it made the best picture!

I can't remember what this technique is called but as you press the button down you zoom your lens in and it looks something like this. I'd like to try this with a lot of nicer flowers, dandelions aren't the most beautiful subject but they work...for now...

Just thought this was a good picture, good composition...

***Experimenting with "panning". You use a slow shutter speed and move along with your subject...turns out really cool when it works!
